YHGSA Partnerships
The YHGSA has worked with a number of other organisations and networks
which also have an interest in Global Education. These currently include:
The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust
This is a partner organisation for many of our courses concerning Global
Education and Sustainable Development (http://www.ydmt.org)
UNICEF
T he YHGSA has run a number of joint training sessions with UNICEF and
several schools in the Hull area have taken on the UNICEF Rights Respecting
School Award alongside the Global School Award (http://www.unicef.org.uk/tz/teacher_support/rrs_award.asp).
The British Council Regional Network for International
Learning
T he YHGSA works cooperatively with this network on training courses and
joint conferences. The Centre for Global Education (one of the YHGSA partner
organisations) works closely with the DFID Global School Partnership Scheme
which is managed by the British Council (http://www.britishcouncil.org/learning-regional-network-for-international-learning.htm).
