Resources for the Global Dimension
The Global Schools Association aims to provide teachers with resources for all aspects of the global dimension in education.
We seeks to ensure that all those teachers and student teachers in the YHGSA region wishing to access development education resources can do so by whichever means is most convenient and appropriate to them. And, those wishing to incorporate development education resources and approaches into their curricula can obtain the advice required to enable them to make appropriate choices.
The Global Schools Association provides teachers and student teachers access to resources through the following means:
Resources Database
An online database of all resources available to teachers across the region.
Global Artists
A directory of Artists who run workshops focusing on global issues in
schools across the region.
Inspection Boxes
Boxes of recommended resources for advisors, advisory teachers and others
to use during training sessions, Curriculum Coordination meetings and
to take into schools.
Recommended Resources
A list of the most popular resources currently available.
Classroom Activities
A selection of classroom activities from popular resources.
Service Providers
Information about service providers across the region.
